Is Tooth Extraction Painful?

No, it is completely painless. We will give you painless local anaesthesia during the procedure to eliminate the painAlso, following the procedure, we recommend pain medication to help you manage post-extraction pain. If we utilize Laser Therapy, then you will feel minimum discomfort.

What Happens After Tooth Extraction?

Take painkillers as prescribed. Bite firmly on the gauze pad placed by your dentist to stop bleeding and allow a clot to form in the tooth socket. Avoid rinsing or spitting forcefully for 24 hours after the extraction. This will help to avoid dislodging the clot that forms in the socket.

How Soon After Tooth Extraction Can I Eat?

About an hour after surgery, you may remove the gauze pad that have been placed in your mouth. Be sure to eat soft foods for the first 24 hours after surgeryAvoid hot foods and drinks for first 24 hours after surgery. Also do not drink from a straw for at least first 24 hours. After 24 hours, you can eat almost everything.

 

How Long Does It Take To Recover From A Wisdom Tooth Extraction?

Most people completely recover from wisdom teeth surgery in 24-48 hours. If your teeth were impacted or positioned in a difficult angle, it could take 4-5 days to recover. The wound left behind after surgery will be completely healed after 3 months. We will remove stitch after 7 days to improve healing.
